ABOUT COMMPACT

Established in 2018, Commpact – The Commerce Society of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies comprises of highly enthusiastic students who have a great zeal to learn and execute new skills & ideas. The society provides an open floor to both students & teachers, to discuss & plan out innovative concepts for the advancement of business acumen in an amicable manner. By conducting various activities and interactive sessions, the society emphasizes on actual business practices and aims at fostering critical thinking as well as the problem-solving ability of students.

Commpact works with a vision to provide a platform to students, imbuing the motto of “Think, Create & Innovate”.

MISSION

The purpose of the society is to create an environment for students where they can nurture and enhance their knowledge, and can also showcase their talent in areas like organizing events, creative skills, communication & marketing, content writing, social media handling, anchoring, pitching to sponsor and many more corporate and life skills.

OBJECTIVES

To cultivate students’ interest in the field of management or commerce in a convivial environment, without the pressure of being graded.

To equip students with practical knowledge useful in day to day affairs like money management, stock market knowledge and contemporary financial matters like GST.
To bring awareness among students about various opportunities for higher studies in the field of management/commerce.
To encourage participation in inter-college competitions, which will provide MAIMS with recognition among other colleges and universities.
To enhance students’ leadership and managerial skills by conducting practical sessions, activities, interactive sessions or other college outreach events.
To make students aware of the business opportunities available in the current scenario.

ABOUT MAIMS

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies – affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi began with two programmes- BBA and BBA (B&I) in 2003. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies was affiliated to run the BJMC programme in the year 2010 and BJMC 2ND of 2012-2013. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies has also been given the responsibility of running the MBA programme. The institute was granted ISO certification 9001:2008 after meeting the requirements of the new version of ISO certification.

Our Mission is to develop MAIMS into a premier centre of excellence by inculcating and nurturing competencies of young boys and girls into successful managers of tomorrow, by providing them high quality and value-based holistic orientation in various functional areas of management so that competitive excellence could be created.
